Golyanovtsi is a village in Western Bulgaria. It is located in the municipality Kostinbrod, district Sofia.
It is 2 km northeast of Kostinbrod, 19 km northwest of downtown Sofia, 23 km east of the town Slivnitsa. Close to two major transport corridors - International road Sofia-Belgrade and Lomsko Shose.
The population numbers about 500 people.
The terrain is flat with an altitude of 556 m.
The municipality falls within the temperate climatic zone. Typically there are cold winters, cool summers and an earlier fall, compared to other parts of the country.
The village is electrified, built water supply, electricity, communications networks. A partial sewerage network.
Here function community center Elin Pelin, town hall, shops for groceries. Nearest hospital, school, kindergarten are in Kostinbrod.
There is regular transport (route line No 5) from Sofia to Golyanovtsi with route: Golyanovtsi, Zhiten, Dobroslavtsi, Mramor, Sofia (Central Station).
The village is preferred for buying properties from people who want to be away from hectic and noise of the city. Priority is clean air and easy access to capital through Lomsko shose.
Nearby there are several dams in the village of interest to visitors is the Church of St. Ilia (built 1937).
