General Kantardzhievo is a village in north-eastern Bulgaria, called the name of General Todor Kantardzhiev. It is located in Aksakovo Municipality, Varna District. By 1942 the name of the village is Chaus Kyoy. It is located 24 kilometers north-east of Varna. In recent years, in the land of the village are constructed many holiday complexes.
The residents are Orthodox Christians who identify as gagauzi. As the old generation speak Turkic (gagauzki) language. In recent years the village retain more young people move or as a permanent resident of the city and thus the number of speaking to gagauzki significantly reduced. Many foreigners (mostly British) have bought houses in the village, which used to rest and permanent living.
