Gavrailovo is a village in southeastern Bulgaria. It is located in Sliven Municipality, Sliven region.

It is about 16 km southwest from the town of Sliven, about 27 km northeast from the town of Nova Zagora, 124 km west from the city of Burgas, 305 km east from the city of Sofia.
It is situated near the railway line Sofia-Sliven-Burgas. There is regular bus transport.

Located on the southern slopes of Stara Planina mountain at 260 m altitude. The permanent population is about 1200 inhabitants.

The climate is temperate-continental. Winter is mild and summer is hot. Autumn is longer than spring.

The village is known as the center of the Peach Valley, because the favorable soil and climatic conditions in the region contribute to the cultivation of thousands of acres of peaches (compote and dessert), grapes, cherries, apples, cereals.

There is a town hall, post office, library, automatic telephone exchange, school, community center, kindergarten, built stadium with a swimming pool, restaurant, shop, church "St. Archangel Michael-Gabriel" built in 1861-1866, the population is served by two medical centers. In Gavrailovo functioning cannery and administrative building of the APC "Valley of the peaches." In the area of ​​canning factory is built and provide jobs greenhouses, mushroom  plantation, concrete plant. The nearest hospital in the town of Sliven.

Landmarks

Only 15 minutes on the road Gavrailovo-Byala leads to high mountain dam in the area of ​​"Elata" at altitude 750 meters. Near the dam are built shelters, which are used both in summer and winter populations.
Nearby is an ancient Thracian settlement in the "Gradishteto." Part of the land of the village in the mountains falls in the project to build a wind farm "Byala".
