Dve topoli is a village in southern Bulgaria. It is located in Banite municipality, Smolyan region.
It is located 38 km north from the village of Banite, 85 km northeast from the town of Smolyan, 76 km east from the town of Chepelare and 236 km southeast from Sofia.
Located in the mountainous area at 933 m above sea level. The climate is characterized by cool summers and moderately cold and sunny winters.
The permanent population is 20 people.
In the neighbouring village Zagrazhden / 6 km west / there is a town hall, community center, post office, school, health center, two shops and a pub. The nearest hospital is in the city of Smolyan.
TOURISM AND LANDMARKS
- Zagrazhden eco trail starts in the village Zagrazhden follows the natural landmark Dobrin pool, waterfalls "Chistilishteto" and "Kozarnika", area Dve topoli and an old Roman Bridge.
- Near village of Davidkovo / 20 km southwest / there is a dam and pond. They breed carp and crucian carp, silver carp, trout and Moore.
- Village of Banite is a resort center of national and international importance, mineral water for its healing properties and the Spa complexes attract people for rehabilitation and tourists from home and abroad.
