Dunevo  is a village in Southern Bulgaria. It is located in Smolyan Municipality, Smolyan Region.

It is located of about 4 km Northeast from Smolyan, about 24 km Northwest of Pamporovo, 26 km Northwest of Rudozem, 249 km Southeast of Sofia.
The village has regular bus transport to and from the town of Smolyan.

Dunevo Village is located in a mountainous area on an altitude of ​​1087 m. However being close to the town of Smolyan, Dunevo hasn't depopulated itself and its permanent population is around 100 residents.

The climate is Mountainous, with a strong influence of the Mediterranean ocean. Winters are mild and snowing, summers are cool and humid, and autumns are long and warm.

The village has a town hall, church "St. Elias" chapel "St. Elisha," a shop. Guests of the village could stay in a Family house with a tavern. The nearest schools and medical centres are located in the town of Smolyan.

Dunevo offers lots of opportunities for jauns and picnics in the mountains. Because of the close proximity of Smolyan Lakes and other different wather basins, it is very good place for fishing and tourism.

The only ostrich farm in the municipality of Smolyan, which is located in Chokmanovo village, is just 5 km from Dunevo and has become very interesting tourist attraction. There you can meet face to face with about 20 ostriches.
