Dobravitsa is a village in West Bulgaria. It is situated in Svoge municipality, Sofia region.
It is located in mountain region at the foot of Ponor mountain and its altitude is about 993 m. The climate is temperate and is characterized by cold winter, cool summer and early coming fall, in comparison to the other parts of the country.
The permanent population of the village of Dobravitsa is about 9 people.
To the village leads asphalt road and also there are water and electricity systems. The mobile operators have coverage.
The nearest school, kindergarten and store are working in the neighboring village of Iskrets. There you can also get medical assistance from two GPs. The nearest hospital is on the territory of the municipality.
The area is suitable for recreational tourism - the micro climate is suitable for SPA treatment of lung diseases.
In proximity flow the rivers Iskretska and Kozel that offer excellent conditions for fishing.
Interesting is that once the territory of the village was bottom of a sea. At some places here can be found fossils of mollusks, mussels and more.
From two sides the village is surrounded by rocks that are black to their middle and the locals call them Tsarnio kamik. In the area there small waterfalls, springs etc. that make it very picturesque.
Interesting cultural landmark is Iskretski monastery that was found in the XIII c. and consists of church and residential buildings.
