The village is architectural example of harmonically combined steep terrain, amphitheatrically set houses and narrow, cobblestone streets. Big part of the residential buildings were constructed by local masters in the end of the XIX and the beginning of the XX centuries. The houses are in Bulgarian Revival style. About 26 of them are monuments of culture.

Local place of interest is the church 'Uspenie Bogorodichno', which is at the centre of the village. It was constructed in the year of 1838.

The region is convenient for pedestrian tourism and recreation. Marked route leads to Popovi livadi area (about an hour and a half in a walking distance), which features sun-filled meadows with mushrooms, forest fruit and fresh mountain springs. The area is a starting point for Orelyak and Sveshtnik peaks climbing.

The guests may visit as well the balneotherapy resort of Ognyanovo, which is just 19 km away. There are more than 20 mineral springs in the settlement.

The traditional fair of the village takes place on 21st May - the holiday of St St Constantin and Elena.
