Davidkovo is a village in southern Bulgaria. It is located in Banite Municipality, Smolyan region.

Village Davidkovo is situated in the Prespanski share of the Western Rhodopes, at an altitude of 1000 meters at the foot of Mount Svoboda.
The village is located about 16 km north from the regional center Banite village, 61 km northeast from the city of Smolyan, 83 km from the nearest airport in Plovdiv and about 231 km southeast from Sofia.
There is regular bus transport from the city of Kardazhali, Smolyan and Plovdiv.

Davidkovo village is crowded with about 1000 inhabitants.
The climate is characterized by cool summer and moderately cold, sunny winter.

The village is well developed - has a community center, elementary school, kindergarten, health service, church and mosque. Medical care is covered by a general practitioner. The nearest general hospital is in the district city of Smolyan.

With a favorable climate, intoxicating fresh air, diverse and beautiful scenery, the village attracts many tourists.

Legend has it that at the nearby Mount Svoboda Enihan Baba is buried - Ottoman commander.

Near Davidkovo there is acting fuller called "dashta". Even today people of Davidkovo used "dashtata" as centuries ago to wash rugs, carpets.

Near the village there is a dam and pond. They breed carp and goldfish, carp, white trout and moore.
 
The village is an ideal starting point to explore the Rhodopes mountain and get acquainted with it. Almost all the sights of the mountains are within a radius of about 60-80 km:
Bachkovo monastery, Banite- mineral sources, Zlatograd, Devil's Bridge - Ardino, Shiroka Luka, Trigrad gorge, Devil's Throat cave and Yagodina cave, Wonderful Bridges, Momchilovtsi and others.
