Damyanovo is a village in Northern Bulgaria. It is located in the municipality of Sevlievo, District Gabrovo.
The village is set at an altitude of 380 meters on the southern slopes of the mountain Sevlievo. The view is towards the Central Balkan Mountains, and in particular the peaks Botev and Triglav (Naked peak). All houses in the village are with a beautiful view to the mountain ridge. The peaks of Shipka and Buzludzha as well as Ambaritsa, Trayanovi vrata and Vidinya can be seen. The river Vidima goes through the valley.
The climate is moderate - with mild winters and cool summers. No major rainfall.
The population is about 500 people.
The main occupation is farming environment. Another sectors which are developed are fruit-growing, especially the cultivation of cherries, plums and chokeberry. Areas that allow are dwelt with wheat, sunflower and maize.
There are a town hall, post office, health office, community center, a library and several shops in Damyanovo. The closest school in the village Gradnitsa / 6 km south of Damyanovo/.
Museum to the library and displayed in it ancient costumes and household items from the 17-19 century.
Vidima River is located 6 km from the village towards the mountains. The river is suitable for sport fishing maple throughout the year and the barbell during the summer.
In the vicinity of the village there are three lakes suitable for fishing even for children.
Over Damyanovo, on about 800 - 900 m altitude is the kingdom of mushrooms and in particular boletus.
The route of the road between Damyanovo and Hirevo is suitable for conducting of automobile races. Sharp turns, inclines and interesting route.
Damyanovo is conveniently located between the two motorcycle tracks - Troyaan and Gorna Rositsa.
