Village of Chereshovsha reka

Chereshovska Reka is a village in southern Bulgaria. It is located in Smolyan Municipality, Smolyan region.
It is 21 km northwest from the town of Rudozem, about 26 km southwest from the town of Smolyan, 40 km south from the ski resort Pamporovo and 266 km southeast from Sofia.
Chereshovska Reka is located in a mountainous area, at 1041 m altitude. The climate is characterized by cool and wet summer and long and warm autumn.
The population is only 10 inhabitants.
Located next to the village Mogilitsa where there is a kindergarten and elementary school. The nearest hospital is located in the town of Smolyan.
Tourism and sightseeing
The most famous landmark in the vicinity are "Agushevi konatsi" in the village of Mogilitsa. Great feudal castle (Konak) built in 1834.
Near the village in "Sinite virove" area is situated cave Uhlovitsa. It is one of the one hundred tourist sites in Bulgaria. It is about 460 m long, of which 330 are improved. At the end of the cave is ice white waterfall. In the cave there are corallites.
In the village of Bukata, approximately 3 km away from the architectural ensemble "Hadzhyiski kashti" - Summer feudal castle / Konak / - restored and turned into a hotel restaurant. In it, if tourists are willing themselves to knead bread and try out their skills in the processing of wool.
