Tsenovo is a village in southern Bulgaria. It is located in Chirpan Municipality, Stara Zagora region.
In Bulgaria there is another village with the same name, in municipality Tsenovo, Ruse region.
Tsenovo is situated 8 km southeast from the town of Chirpan, 53 km in the same direction from the city of Plovdiv, 42 km northeast from the city of Stara Zagora and 197 km from the city of Sofia.
The village is situated at an altitude of 100 meters.
The climate is temperate-continental. Summer is characterized by great heat and the winter is relatively crude.
The permanent population in Tsenovo is about 234 inhabitants. The streets are paved, there is coverage of all mobile operators. The village has an old church. There is operating town hall, community center and store. Nearest schools and medical facilitiesare located in the town of Chirpan.
In the vicinity of the village runs a river "Malkata" - nice place for a picnic and walk. In the nearby town Merichleri (about 10 km away) there is a spa and swimming pool with curative water.
About 15 km from Tsenovo is the "Manchov oak" area, which also has thermal springs with mineral water.
For history lovers, one of the most interesting sights in the area is Zlatnolivadenskiya monastery "St. Athanasius" - one of the biggest Bulgarian monastery, and according to recent studies and one of the oldest in Europe.
