Byala rela is a village in the municipality of Suhindol, Veliko Tarnovo region
Byala reka is situated 9 km from Suhindol, 20 km from Pavlikeni and 45 km from Veliko Tarnovo. Sofia is on 160 km and Varna on 266 km.
The village is located in plain-hilly region in the „Suhindol peak” area, which is the highest point of Danube valley and extinct volcano with a crater 8-9 m long is situated in the vicinity of Byala reka. 2 km from it is the Alexander Stambolyiski dam, which is between Gorsko Kosovo and Gorsko Kalugerovo.The area around the dam is very suitable for the development of rural tourism аnd eco-tourism, because of the quietness, fresh air and beautiful nature. There're conditions for playing various water sports.
The other near water basins (Rositsa River and some microdams) are visited by tourists for amateur and sport fishing.
Apart from the splendid nature, oak and beech trees, the region is famous for its typical rural atmosphere, quality wine and intersting archirecture.
There are inns and rest houses in the region, which can seat tourists.
There are mainly second and third-class roads in the region but the village is 30 km from the first-class road Sofia-Sevlievo - Veliko Tarnovo - Varna.
