Bukovlak is a village in North Bulgaria. It is situated in Pleven municipality, Pleven region.
It is located in valley area and its altitude is 107 m. The climate is characterized by hot and dry summer while the winter is cold. Lots of precipitation falls during the months June and February. The region is one of the most often struck by storm hails in Northern Bulgaria.
Bukovlak is well maintained village. There is regular transportation to the town of Pleven four times a day. Natural phenomenon that you can go on an excursion to is the canyon of Chernelka river that is protected area. Here you can also see Kapchuka cave.
Tabakova cheshma dam (5 km) is good place for fishing.
