Brucen is a village in western Bulgaria, at Etropole Municipality, Sofia District.
In Bulgaria there is other village bearing the name Brusen - Mezdra municipality, Vratsa region.
It is 18 km northeast of Etropole, 96 km southeast of Sofia and 37 km east of Botevgrad.
The population numbers about 250 people.
Located at the foot of the Balkan Mountains on the border between Etropole and Teteven Balkan, at an altitude of 650 m.
Passes through the village Little Brusenska River, a tributary of the River Iskar.
