Boykovets is a village in Western Bulgaria. It is located in the municipality Etropole,Sofia District.
It is 11 km west of Etropole, 92 km northeast of Sofia, 38 km southeast of the town of Botevgrad.
The population numbers about 120 people.
Located at the foot of the Balkan Mountains on the border between Etropole and Teteven Balkan, at an altitude of 794 m.
The village falls within the zone of temperate climate.

There are many natural attractions. Above the village is the site Shindarnika. One of the most famous places Varteshkata where fights were held for the liberation of Bulgaria from Ottoman rule. There plaque perpetuate these battles. Also, there goes the old Roman road of Sofia Kaldrama.
