Borovo is a village in Southern Bulgaria. It is located in Municipality Luki, District of Plovdiv.
Borovo stands about 10 km north-east of the municipal center of Laki, about 38 km south of the town of Asenovgrad, about 57 km south-east of the town of Plovdiv, about 38 km away from Bachkovo Monastery and about 205 km south-east of the capital of Sofia.
Every morning and afternoon there is a regular bus line linking Borovo to Laki, where there are buses to the towns of Asenovgrad and Plovdiv.
The relief of the village is mountainous, with altitude about 1000 m.
The climate is continental, with characteristic of the region cold winters and cool summers.
The village population is about 100 residents.
The infrastructure of Borovo is settled with partly asphalted and lighted streets, water supply system, telephones.
There are town house, churches and a number of chapels, post office, shops and cafés. The closest school and kindergarten are in the town of Laki.
Medical services are provided in the municipal center of Laki as well.
The highest here is Krastov peak at 1428 m.
On the territory of Borovo is situated Saint Trinity Monastery - Krastova Gora - a well known tourist destination, visited by many local and foreign tourists and pilgrims.
In the area there are also many marked eco trails used for tourism, for photo tourism and tours.
