It stands about 12 km northwest of the town of Kyustendil.

The church Vaznesenie Gospodne was built in 1909 and is disposed on a hill by the village, where a beautiful view is revealed.
The close proximity of Kyustendil makes possible visiting of the spas and Roman baths in Kyustendil. The hill of Hisarlaka is rising about 2 km south-east of the town. There is a fortress there, built at the end of IV and the beginning of V century.
