Bilka is a village in Southeast Bulgaria. It is situated in Ruen municipality, Burgas region.
The village of Bilka is about 28 km north of the village of Ruen, 66 km from the town of Burgas and just 2 km from the town of village of Tranak.
The village is in mountain region and its altitude is about 250 m.
The climate is continental while the winter is considerably mild for the proximity to the sea, the spring is cool and the summer is hot with many sunny days, the fall is long and warm.
The permanent population is about 545 people.
There is regular transportation three times a day.
There are constructed water and electricity systems. Here are functioning food store and coffee shop.
In the village is working GP who takes care for the local residents as the nearest medical center is in the town of Ruen.
And the nearest school and kindergarten are in the village of Tranak.
Around the village there is lots of pray - boar, red deer, roe deer, hare, wolf jackal and fox. In proximity is situated Tsonevo dam on the bank of Luda Kamchiya river just one kilometer from the village of Tsonevo. All this creates excellent conditions for the people that enjoy hunting and fishing.
The picturesque canal of the dam and the slopes around it that are covered with greenery and trees make it attractive tourist destination for relaxation and camping.
Near the village is located the protected rock formation Profesora (The Professor).
