Bikovo is a village in southeastern Bulgaria. It is located in Sliven Municipality, Sliven region.
It is about 18 km east from the town of Nova Zagora, 33 km southwest from the city of Sliven, about 39 km west from the town of Yambol and 285 km southeast from the city of Sofia.
Regular bus service connects the village with the city of Sliven.
It is located at 154 meters above sea level. The permanent population is about 300 people.
The climate is temperate - continental. Characterized by mild and short winter and relatively cool summer.
In the village there is a town hall, church "St. Dimitar" and community center. Also cable TV, internet and mobile phone coverage is available. In the town of Kermen there is a medical center and shops. The nearest hospital, school and kindergarten are located in the town of Nova Zagora.
Surroundings and sights
In Bikovo there is a mound of Eneolithic and Bronze Age, and 1 km from the village are the remains of an ancient settlement.
In the region there are several dams - Dam Bikovo, Pitovo1 dam, dam Pitovo2 and Gulubintsi dam that offer rich pickings for avid anglers and pleasant atmosphere for relaxation.
