Beltsov is a village in Northern Bulgaria. It is part of Tsenovo Municipality, Ruse Region.
It is situated 53 km south-west from the centre of Ruse, 4 km north from village of Tsenovo, 33 km south-east from town of Svishtov, 218 km north-west from town of Varna and 260 km north-east from city of Sofia.
The population is approximately 450 people.
The village spreads out the right bank of Yantra River, in the eastern part of the Danube plain, on 44 m above the sea level. The area characterizes with low, plain and hilly lands. The climate is humid continental. The summer is hot and dry, the winter is cold.
There is a town-hall, a post office, a community centre, an orthodox church and commercial areas. It is provided with electricity, water and communication equipment. The municipal centre of Tsenovo is the nearest settlement with education centres and doctors. The nearest hospitals and railway station are in town of Byala (19 km).
The good climate conditions and fertile land are favourable for developing agricultural activities. The population cultivates sun-flower, corn, barley and breeds sheep.
The settlement of Beltsov is with interesting caves and picturesque meanders of Yantra River. The village is about 14 km away from the outfall in Danube River. Excellent are the conditions for fishing - European chub, asp, northern pike, sheatfish, zander, perch, etc. The river is convenient for kayaking from town of Byala to the outfall in Danube River.
