Aligovska is a village in South Bulgaria. It is situated in Smolyan municipality, Smolyan region.
It is 37 km northeast of the regional center the town of Smolyan, 47 km southwest of the resort Pamporovo, 132 km south of the nearest airport in the town of Plovdiv and 279 km southeast of the capital Sofia.
It is located at altitude of 1181 m. The climate is characterized by cool and rainy summer while the fall is prolonged and warm.
The permanent population is about 15 people.
The nearest medical centers, school and kindergarten are in the town of Smolyan.
In the area you can visit:
Agushevi Konatsi /architectural and art monument of culture with national significance/ there are situated in Mogilitsa village. In 1834 in the village was constructed large feudal castle (konak) the largest on the Balkans for its time. It is designed to be solid winter villa for Agush Aga and his sons. The construction of Agusheviya konak took 20 years.
It is in the area Sinite virove just 3 km east of the village on the left shore of Arda river.
For the people that enjoy winter sports amenity is the proximity to the slopes of Pamporovo resort and Chepelare town.
