LOCATION
The village of Aleksandrovo is located  in Southeastern Bulgaria, about 12 km from the biggest seaside resort -  Sunny Beach and about 35 km from the city of Burgas and International Airport of Sarafovo. The ancient town of  Nesebar is situated 17 km east next to the Sunny Beach resort and between the dam lakes Aheloy and Poroy. The altitude in the region of Aleksandrovo is about 200m.

 

CLIMATE
Climate is temperate. Climatic conditions are very favorable for continued sunshine vacation (up to 2360 hours per year), average July temperature of air and water is 23,6 ° C. The autumn is warm and long. The average autumn temperature is 20,5 ° C. Snowfalls are minimal and the snow holds no more than 5-7 days. In the vicinity of the village has a small river.

 

ECONOMY
Basic livelihood of the village comes from agriculture, livestock and forestry as well as rural tourism.


TRANSPORT

The situation of the village to the large Black Sea resorts offers excellent transport links, of which 11 percent are first-class roads. There is regular bus service.


TOURISM
Aleksandrovo dynamically evolve - over the past years many houses and luxury villa complexes were built. More and more tourists prefer it because of the diverse opportunities for recreation that offers. On the one hand, endless entertainment and beautiful beaches of Sunny Beach, a stroll around the ancient Nesebar - one of the oldest cities in Europe, relaxing Spa procedures with  healing  mud in Pomorie extracted from its outskirts and all of that -  just minutes away from the village. The closeness of the Balkan  Mountain turns this village in a preferred place for tourists. The village is a part from Natura 2000 - a project for developing a network of protected zones in Bulgaria.
