Aleko-konstantinovo is a village in Southern Bulgaria, part of Municipality Pazardzhik, Pazardzhik Region.

The village is situated 7 km southwestern direction from the town of Pazardzhik and 45 km western direction from the town of Plovdiv.

The population is about 3000 inhabitants.

The terrain is hilly plain with average altitude of 280 m.
The climate is transcontinental. The winter is mild, in the summer it is summer but cool.

The village has well-developed infrastructure that includes electricity, water-main, partly sewerage installations, telephone lines, internet and cable TV.

About 5 km away is the railway station in Pazardzhik. And a kilometer away is the secondary road 37 that goes to the towns of Peshtera and Pazardzhik, the distance to the European road E80 is 6 km.
There is regular bus transport.

The village has a town-hall, school, community center, post office, church and medical cabinet.
Also there are cafes and variety of shops.

In closeness the Aleko Hydro Power Plant is working.

 

Places of interest and tourism:

The Pishmanka River goes through the village and is a nice place for fishing, resting and walks among the beautiful nature.

Also close is situated the town of Batak where you can go fishing, hunting and do all kind of tourism as well as winter and water sports.

Around 47 km away is the year-round mountain resort Tsigov chark set on the territory of the Western Rodopi Mountain - south-east from the picturesque Batak Dam. Batak Dam waters offer unforgettable moments for fishing and water sports. Many chalets and hotels are at your service in the area if you want to relax in the beauty and fresh air of Rodopi Mountain.
