Agatovo is a village in the region of Gabrovo, on 384m altitude.
The village is 20km far from Sevlievo, 49km from Gabrovo, 65km from Veliko Tarnovo and 15km North from the highway Sofia – Varna. The distance to Varna is 289km and to Sofia 175km.
12km far from the village is situated the Devetashka cave, which is one of the largest caves in Bulgaria and is a protected area. There are remains from the Neolit there and in the past it has been a military restricted area. The cave can be accessed easily by a small path. There’s also the Krushunski fall in the region, which is formed by many karst terraces. The route to the fall is easily accessible and there are also bridges. There’s an ecopath near it, from where the tourists can observe the whole system of falls. There are two dams, which altogether with the hilly lay creates very good conditions for hunting and fishing.
The two rivers Rositsa and Vidima are located in the area and they are flowing into one of the largest dams in Bulgaria – Alexander Stambolyiski Dam.
There are two shops, health care center, where there is a doctor in duty from Sevlievo, as well as an active cultural club. The students are transported to the near village with a school bus. Three times a day public transport buses travel on the route Sevlievo – Pavlikeni and back.
