Ablanitsa is a village, situated in South-east Bulgaria. It is located in municipality Hadjidimovo, Blagoevgrad region. There are two more villages with the same name - one in municipality Lovech, Lovech region, and one in municipality Velingrad , region of Velingrad. Village of Ablanitsa is 22 km south-east from the town of Gotse Delchev, 10,5 km north-east from town of hadjidimovo and 120 km south-east from city of Blagoevgard. The village is the biggest in municipality Hadjidimovo.
The village is situated on 550 - 600 m altitude. The relief is hilly.
The climate is transitionally-Mediterranean, characterized with soft,rainy winter and hot, dry summer.
The village is electrified and water-supplied. Big part of the streets are asphalted. The population is about 2 780 people.
The village has good transport infrastructure. In the village, there is manufacture of shoes and clothes. People provide also with livestock and plant-growing. One of the main cultures is tobacco.
The village has rich history. Historical sources claim that Ablanitsa is one of the most ancient villages on the riverside of Mesta river and in Chech region at all.Graves from the late Iron Age period are found around the village.
A few kilometers from the village, down the stream of Bistritsa river, you can sea a very old Roman Bridge. It is a proof for the Roman invasion in our lands during Medieval times.
