Zlataritsa is a town in Northern Bulgaria at Veliko Tarnovo Region. The town is administrative centre of Zlataritsa Municipality.

There is another settlement with the same name in Bulgaria. It is situated at Belitsa Municipality, Blagoevgrad Region.

Town of Zlataritsa is 15 km south-east from town of Veliko Tarnovo, 12 km north from town of Elena and 45 km north-east from town of Gabrovo.

The population is approximately 2800 people.

The relief characterizes with plain and hilly lands. The sea altitude is about 100 m.
The climate is humid continental. Summer is hot and winter is cold. The average summer temperature is about 26ºC and the average winter one - 4ºC.

The town is with excellent infrastructure. It is provided with electricity, water, sewerage system and telephone net. Internet, cable and digital TV are available as well.
The street and transport net are also well-developed.

There is a secondary school, several comprehensive schools, a primary school, kindergartens, a community centre, a historical museum, a church, a post office, public houses, shops and a public laundry.

Zlataritsa comprises a hospital.

There is a railway station and regular bus transportation connecting Zlataritsa with the towns of Lyaskovets and Veliko Tarnovo, and the neighbouring smaller towns and villages.

Tourist and cultural sites

Zlatarishka River passes through here and shapes picturesque areas for the nature lovers.

There are seven micro-dams on the territory of the municipality. Some of them are used as breeding ponds and the rest of them as fishing areas.

The guests may visit the Historical museum and the church-temple 'St Nicolay'. The church is unique with its wall-paintings, icons and architectural style.
