Dragoman is a town in Western Bulgaria. Administrative center of the Municipality of Dragoman, Sofia District.
It is the first town in the direction of the capital after Kalotina checkpoint.
It is about 40 km northwest from the center of Sofia and 13 km in the same direction from the town of Slivnitsa, 14 km southeast of Kalotina / the border with Serbia /.
The population is about 3600 people.
The town is located in a small high-field at the foot of Chepan (part of the Massif of the Balkan Mountain), located in the western part of the Sofia Valley that came from the south Balkan Mountains and passes west of Sofia in Aldomirovska and Slivnishka field.
The climate is temperate. Summers are hot and winters cold.

Lovers of extreme sports can get on a paraglider Chepan, one of the best places for this sport.
Interest for tourism are architectural and historical landmarks like Razboishtki monastery and Cheparlyanski Monastery and others.
Dragoman marsh - only in Bulgaria with karst origin, which gives it special conservation concern. Marsh is a protected area in which are many rare plants and waterfowl.
Cave Temnata dupka, located near the village Lipintsi and about half a kilometer from the neighborhood Bachiyshte above the village Berende izvor. Is 425 meters long and is dotted with various cave formations - stalactites, stalagmites, blinds, dishes and ponds, cave pearls, stone lilies and other specific entities. It was declared a landmark.
