Boychinovtsi is a town in Boychinovtsi municipality, Montana region.
The town is situated in North-western Bulgaria, 20 km to Montana city, 37 km to Vratsa and 113 to the capital Sofia city. The population is about 2000. The International road E-79 passes 17 km away from town.
Besides from the amazingly recerved nature, the tourists can enjoy to the many temples - most of them have more than one hundred years history, as well as visit the only flying centre for air and extream sports in Northwestern Bulgaria. The centre is located on the territory of Erden village. The centre was designed for special tourism in the area of flying and parachute jumps, advertisement flights and walks. Educations of pilots for paraplaners and motorless airplanes, parachutists, organization of contests are made here. The centre benefits with visits of many foreign contestants as well as fans of variety of extream air sports.
Town of Boychinovtsi is an important railway junction connectiong the municipality and the regional city with Vidin city and Sofia. Villages of Erden, Marchevo, Ohrid, Pali luma and town of Boychinovtsi are part of the railway net.
There is also regular bus transportation from and to Montana, Valchedram, Kozloduy, Berkovitsa and etc.
