Zheleznik is a quarter in Stara Zagora, located in the western part of the city. The district carries one of the ancient names of Stara Zagora.
Zheleznik has a population approximately 35 000 people. Majority of buildings in the neighborhood are panel blocks built between 1984 - 1990 year. In the neighborhood has developed a modern project for street lighting with energy saving lamps with thermo-protection. Nearby is a road E-773 (Sofia - Burgas).
