Izgrev quarter is situated in the northern part of the city of Varna. The quarter starts from the ring-road (Hristo Smirnenski Boulevard) and continues up to the north. It rises about 50-100 m above the ring-road.
It is far off the center of the city, surrounded by a small wood. The northern villa zones are its natural extension.
There are five tall residential buildings in the area, built before the year of 1999 and a great number of houses and cottages.
The climate in its upper parts is significantly different from the one downtown Varna. Due to the height and the winds, the air is much clearer.
Some of the properties located on the southern slope benefit from an extremely beautiful view to the city, the sea and the Lake of Varna.
The infrastructure of the quarter is yet to be developed. Still, the quarter borders the Tzveten quarter which has a well-developed infrastructure. Nearby there are a kindergarten for children at the age of 2, a kindergarten, 3 secondary schools, a hospital, many shops, petrol stations and car-stations.
The area is served by the following bus-lines: 10, 10а, 23, 25
