Cveten (the Flowers') quarter is located in Primorski area of the city of Varna. The borders of the quarter are outlined by Hristo Smirnenski boulevard (a ring-road) to the north, Podvis street to the east, Yan Palah street and Vasil Levski boulevard to the south and Prilep street to the west.
The quarter is near the central part of the city and is easily accesible from all parts of the city.
It is called like this since all the streets there are named after different flowers: White Lillies, Peony, Iris, Edelweiss, Periwinkle, Hyacinth, Primrose, Carnation, Snowdrop, Lotus, Lilac, Lilly-of-the-Vally, Daffodil, Forget-Me-Not, Rose, Hollyhock, Scilla, Autumn Bells, Chrysanthemum.
The buildings in the area are of mixed type - multi-storey buildings, 4-5 storey brand new residential and administrative buildings, houses.
There are two primary schools, a day care for children under the age of three, a kindergarten, a market place. The Palah Trade Center offers many attractions, as well. There is a fitness center, an Italian restaurant, many shops, a Picadilly supermarket, a pastry shop, a disco. In close proximity is the Spartak Stadium and the Municipal Sports Complex which provides many options for different sports activities.
