Buckston Quarter is situated in the southwest part of the capital between Bratya Buckston Blvd., the Ring Road /below Boyana Quarter/ and Tsar Boris III Blvd.
The infrastructure of the quarter is very well developed and meets the needs of the residents. Typical for the region is the panel and high-rise (the so-called EPK) blocks from the 60s and 80s. There is central heating almost everywhere. During the last few years new construction works have started here. The new blocks contribute to the modern image of the neighbourhood.
The space between the blocks of flats is extremely clean and tidy. There are many playgrounds for children, small gardens and places for relaxation. There are two schools on Gen. Suvorov Blvd. - Comprehensive High School No. 2 and Comprehensive High School No. 5. The kindergartens in the quarter are located on Bratya Bakston Blvd. and Belmeken Str., near XXth Polyclinic. On its territory are the Skin Disease Clinic and the Vitosha Municipality building. Police Department VIth is located on Bratya Buckston Blvd. The residents of the quarter are facilitated by the nearby Borovo market place and the 24-hour store FANTASTIKO.
Buckston Quarter is conveniently connected to the rest of the capital by trolleys 2 and 9; buses - 61, 62, 63, 107, 260, and trams 5, 11, 19.
