Dryanova glava is a village in Southern Bulgaria. It is located in the municipality of Kirkovo, Kardzhali Region.
The village is located 11 km north-west of Kirkovo, 49 km south-west of Kardzhali, 21 km east of Zlatograd and about 290 km south-east of the capital Sofia city. The village of Benkovski is situated only 4 km in the west.
It is situated in an area with hilly and foothill relief at an altitude of 382 meters. The climate is transitional-Mediterranean, winters are relatively mild and summers are long and hot. Varbitsa River passes near the village.
The permanent population is about 55 people.
The village has a relatively well-developed, the main streets are paved, there are electricity and water supply systems as well as coverage of the mobile operators.
In the village of Dryanova glava you can find a mosque and a grocery store. Kindergarten, secondary school and community center you can find in the village of Benkovski. Medical assistance can be obtained again there. General hospital you can find in Zlatograd.

On the left bank of Varbitsa River, near the village of Fotinovo /6 km in the north-east/, you can see six Thracian niches, ancient cuts, grooves and a rock tomb. There are also amazing rock formations resembling turtles that are carved in the rocks. According to the researchers thay were made by an ancient civilization that used to inhabit the Eastern Rhodopes.
In the village of Krilatitsa, 8 km in the south-east, you can visit a late ancient and medieval fortress in the Asara area, declared in 1996 to be an archaeological culture monument.
Only 21 km in the south is situated Veykata Peak /1463 m/ - Bulgaria's southernmost site. From the top you can see the Aegean Sea.
