Akatsievo is a village in Northwestern Bulgaria. It is located in the Municipality of Vidin, District of Vidin.
It is located about 8 km northwest of Vidin and about 35 km northeast of the town of Kula. The distance to the capital Sofia is 200 km.
Topolovets river passes through the village and Danube river is 9 km away. The climate is characterized by cold and windy winter, while summer is hot. The average altitude is 44 m.
The population nimbers about 103 people.
There is a regular bus transport to and from the town of Vidin.
The village has a church, village hall and mobile coverage. The nearest school, kindergarten and hospital are located in the town of Vidin.
Topolovets and Danube rivers are suitable for fishing.
There is a monument of the fallen in the wars in the centre of the village.
