Staichovtsi is a village in West Bulgaria. It is situated in Tran municipality, Pernik region.
It is 14 km southwest of the town of Tran and 60 km northwest of the town of Pernik. The capital Sofia is 90 km east.
It is situated in mountain region and its altitude is about 956 m. The climate in the area is characterized by clearly expressed four seasons - warm, but not hot summer while the winter is very cold. The spring is cool with lots of precipitation and it comes in the end of March and the beginning of April. The fall is much warmer than the spring.
The permanent population is about 46 people.
The nearest school, kindergarten and medical assistance on the territory of the municipality.
Local landmark is Mechata dupka cave as well as the small Leva reka river and here is organized annual gathering.
In the village there is Orthodox temple "St Nickola" that dates back to 1875 and is well preserved.
Leshnikovskata mountain is located in proximity to the village and its highest peak is Zlataritsa (1086 m). The mountain is wonderful place for excursions and the visitors of the area.
