Bosnek is a village in western Bulgaria, part of the Pernik Municipality, Pernik Region.
It is located 25 km southeastern direction of the town of Pernik, 30 km southwestern direction of Sofia.
The population is about 220 inhabitants.
The terrain is mountainous, with an average altitude of 940 m.
The climate in the region is temperate.
The village is well-developed and has excellent infrastructure that includes including complete electrification, water main, sewerage system released partial, telephone, internet and cable TV.
Regular bus transport connects it with the town of Pernik.
There are primary school, community center and two churches. The village has a network of retail outlets, restaurants and guest house.

Tourism and landmarks
The closeness to Vitosha Mountain is perfect for winter sports, there are two ski centers - Aleko and Zlatni mostove. The beautiful nature and excellent conditions are suitable for tourism all year round and attract many visitors.
Duhlata Cave is situated close to the village, it is the long and complex cave system in Bulgaria. A complex multi-storey labyrinth system of 6 floors. There are a great variety of cave formations.
Another of the landmarks of the village is the "Living Water" cave, which is located about 7 km away.
Close to the village passes the Struma River, and Studena dam is 5 km away and both are suitable for fishing and relaxation.
