Mlada Gvardiya is a village located in north-eastern Bulgaria. It is part of Vetrino municipality, Varna region located 48 km away from the city of Varna, 10 km away from the town of Provadiya and 2 km away from the Varna-Sofia highway.
The old name of the village used to be Beilii. Its population numbers to approximately 380 people. The relief is various - from flat to woody-hilly.
In the village there is a community center with a library, a kindergarten, an Orthodox church built in 1905, a doctor's office, a few shops, three cafes and restaurants, a park. A regular bus-transportation is available to the city of Varna, the town of Provadiya and the nearby villages. Coverage of all mobile operators available.
A river is passing by the village. Near the village there are two dam-lakes with a camping and a restaurant. In the village there is a group of hunters taking advantage of the wonderful hunting opportunities near the settlement.
The area is ecologically clean and very fertile. The cultures bred in the area are wheat, barley, corn, etc. Vine-growing is well-developed, as well. A poultry farm is located near the village. During the past few years the locals have found new opportunities to take advantage of the ecologically clean area they inhabit by developing bee-keeping and mushroom gathering.
