Malo peshtene is a village in the municipality of Vratsa, Vratsa District.

It is 25 km north of Vratsa, 33 km southwest of the town of Byala Slatina, 5 km northeast of the village of Banitsa and about 130 km in the same direction from the capital Sofia.

It is situated at an altitude of 230 meters on the riverside of Skat. The climate is characterized by warm summers and cold winters.

The population is about 60 people. Malo peshtene is the smallest village in the municipality.

There are built electricity and water supply systems. There is a post office, chapel, general store, tavern and bioferm. The nearest school is in the village of Banitsa and kindergartens and hospitals operate in Vratsa.
