Enitsa is a village in North Bulgaria. It is located in Knezha municipality, Pleven region.

It is 14 km south of the town of Knezha, 13 km northwest of the town of Koynare, 12 km north of the town of Cherven brayag and 57 km west of the town of Pleven. The capital Sofia is 136 km southwest.

It is situated in a hollow area and its altitude is 121 m. The climate is temperate and is characterized with hot and dry summer while the winter is extremely cold. In the area often the temperatures are getting -30 degrees below zero.

The permanent population is about 1068 people.

There are constructed water and electricity systems. The mobile operators have coverage. Bus transportation connects it to the other settlements.

Here are functioning town hall, community center with library, primary school, kindergarten, stores and restaurants. For the health of the local people takes care one dentist and the nearest hospital and GP are on the territory of the municipality Knexha.

There are two theories for the roots of the name. According to the first it is named after a young woman and according to the second it derives from the Turkish yeni köy or "new village".

The church "St Anastasii" is constructed in the period 1941-1944. The building is made over the remains of an old church from the Turkish yoke and it is with very valuable icons. In 2008 it was renovated and refreshed.

There was also constructed drinking fountain-monument of the fallen during the wars 1912-1918.

Near the village is located the eponymous dam Enitsa which together with Iskar river that passes near by provides great conditions for fishing. The areas are full of prey and offer great opportunities for hunting.

In the town of Knezha the tourists can visit Gergana forest park. There are made zoo inhabited by bears, deers, pony, goats etc., places for relaxation and picnic, barbecues and playgrounds.
