Irakli is a protected area situated in the land of village of Emona with an area of more than 42 hectares. It is about 27 km north of Nessebar, 55 km in the same direction of Burgas, about 15 km south of Obzor, approximately 11 km from Sunny Beach, about 80 km from Varna and 450 km from Sofia.

Irakli is one of the most popular and beautiful beaches on the Bulgarian coast. He is known for over 3 km long beach that borders the slopes of the Balkan Mountains and the easternmost point of the country cape Emine.

The area was declared a protected area in 1994. Here are found the typical coastal habitats of rare and endangered plant species such as sand lily and poinsettia, woundwort sea, sand spurge, Tatar mlechnik, sea vetrogon, and numerous birds. The beach offers excellent conditions for camping and holiday in tents.
