Hlyabovo is a village in southern Bulgaria, it is part of Topolovgrad municipality, Haskovo region.

It is located 9 km west of the municipal town of Topolovgrad, 75 km northeast of Haskovo, 85 km southeast of Stara zagora and 294 km southeast of the capital city of Sofia.

Hlyabovo is 10 km away from the so called "Goliama zvezda", which is a crossroad for the towns of Elhovo, Lyubimec, Svilengrad and Harmanli.

With a permanent population of about 567 inhabitants, Hlyabovo is the second largest settlement in the municipality of Topolovgrad. It is situated at an altitude of 404 meters, on the northern slopes of Sakar mountain. Summers here are hot and dry. In winter there are periods of heavy snow, low temperatures and large snowfalling. Spring is characterized by a rapid increase in temperatures.

The mountain-hilly land of Hlyabovo is located at about 50 000 ha arable land, pastures and forests. The soil is stony, cinnamon-forest and not very fertile. Forests are deciduous, mostly oak and beech, in some places also hornbeam.

In Hlyabovo there is a church built before the liberation, a primary school /more than 130 years old/, a community center with a library, a kindergarten, a large commercial base with a hall, a workshop suture, an engineering firm. The nearest schools and medical facilities are situated in the municipal center of Topolovgrad.

In the area of "Ruskova cherkva" is built a monument of Bulgarian-Soviet friendship. At about 4 km west of the village, in the area of "Nachevi Cheiri", near the road to the village of bulgarska polyana is situated three-chamber dolmen. The place is marked and has a path to the dolmens. Around the village there are six well-preserved dolmens. In the "Byala treva" area is situated the king dolmen, which is the most preserved dolmen in Southeastern Europe.

The nature around Hlyabovo is very picturesque and suitable for walking. In closeness there is a small lake, a favorite place for the lovers of fishing.
