Orizare is a village in Southeast Bulgaria. It is situated in Nesebar municipality, Burgas region.

It is about 15 km northwest of the town of Nesebar, 24 km north of the town of Pomorie and about 35 km north of the town of Burgas. through the village passes the river Byala ryaka, and also here is Poroy dam.

The permanent population is about 1570 people.

The climate is temperate and is much influenced by Cherno more. It is characterized by mild winter, while the summer is warm and the average temperature in July is 24˚C.

Orizare is with completely constructed water and electricity systems. The mobile operators have coverage, also Internet connection and cable TV are available.

Here are functioning primary school, kindergarten, community center, cultural center, modern library, stores and pubs. The nearest medical center is situated in the neighboring village of Kosharitsa, about 8 km from the village of Orizare. The village is with regular bus line that connects it the resorts and the big cities.
The football team of the settlement carries its name and is with modern stadium.

Cultural and natural landmarks

In the village Orizare in the area Harmanite there are remains of ancient urban settlement of ancient Messembria, which is located here. There are two small ancient forts, and there are many scattered fragments of ceramic building, dating from the period of late antiquity.

It is developed rural tourism as Orizare location combines proximity to the sea, the beauty, tranquility and fresh air of the Balkans.
