Bagrentsi is a village in West Bulgaria, part of Municipality Kyustendil, District of Kyustendil.

It stands about 6 km south-east of the town of Kyustendil.

The population is about 700 residents.

The relief is flat and hilly, with average altitude of about 440 m.
The climate in the region is continental, characterized with mild winters and warm, dry summers.

Bagrentsi is with well-developed infrastructure, including partly asphalted and lighted streets, full electrification, water-supply system, telephones, Internet and cable TV.

Secondary road 62 passes less than 1 km from the village, connecting the settlement to the towns of Kyustendil and Dupnitsa.

There is regular transport to and from the town ofKyustendil.

There is a town house, post office, community center, kindergarten and church.

There is health service for the residents of the village. There is a network of shops and restaurants.

Attractions

There are two rivers passing through the village, forming the river Bagrenska, with good opportunities for recreation and walks in nature.

Micro-dams "Bagrentsi" and "Bersin" is located about 2 km and are used for fishing and camping.

The "St.St.Cyril and Methodius" church in Bagrentsi was built in 1885.

The link of the village with the town of Kyustendil gives opportunities for visiting the spas , as well as the Roman baths in the central part of the town. The hill of Hisarlaka is rising about 2 km south-east of the village. There is a fortress there, built at the end of IV and the beginning of V century.
