Hipodruma is a well laid out quarter close to the Sofia center. On the southeast it borders Bulgaria Blvd., on the southwest - Kyustendil Str., Tzar Boris III Blvd. is along its western periphery, and Acad. Ivan Geshov - along its northeastern part.
Hipodruma is a favored place because it is close to the city center and, at the same time, quiet and very green. It is characterized by low brick constructions from the end of the sixties, monolithic constructions from the eighties and high-rise large-area shuttering (the so called EPK) buildings.
