Chernitsa is a village in Southeastern Bulgaria, Sungurlare Municipality, Burgas District.
Located at the foot of Stara Planina mountain, in Sungurlare Valley. It is 80 km northwest of Burgas and Burgas International Airport, 56 km northeast of Sliven, 6 km east of the municipal center.
The climate is temperate. Characterized by mild winter, early spring, moderate summer and warm autumn.
Population - about 450 people.
The village has a community center. The nearest school andhospital are in the town of Sungurlare.
The main livelihood of the local population is agriculture, particularly viticulture. Much of the arable land planted with vines that are suitable for mechanized processing. In Chernitsa there is winery.
The region has opportunities to practice wine, eco, cultural and hunting tourism. Near a dam, two mineral springs, pine and oak forest. At the end of small dams in the wooded part there are two landmarks - Bear Hole and the stone house.
