 Todorovo is a village in North Bulgaria. It is located in Pleven municipality, Pleven region

In Bulgaria there is another settlement with the same name - the village of Todorovo in Isperih municipality, Razgrad region. 

It is 12 km south of the town of Pleven, 3 km in the same direction of the village of Brestovets and 6 km northeast of the village of Gortalovo. The capital Sofia is 156 km southwest. 

It is situated in valley area and its altitude is 262 m. The climate is temperate and is characterized with hot and dry summer while the winter is cold. During June and February fall lots of precipitation. Hails are common phenomenon to the area.

The village is one of the largest in the municipality and is well maintained - there are constructed water and electricity systems. Regular bus transportation connects it to the other settlements.

The permanent population is about 398 people.

Here are functioning town hall, community center, stores and pub. The nearest GP and kindergarten are in the neighboring village of Brestovets. The nearest hospital and schools are on the territory of the town of Pleven. 

Tourism and landmarks

The neighboring village of Gortalovo is starting point of the eco trail that leads to the canyon of the Chernelka river. The tourists can also the many caves in the area among them Kapchuka cave, remains from ancient fortress in Gradishteto area, Roman roads, interesting rock formations. 

In the town of Pleven you can visit three of the 100 Tourist Sites of Bulgaria - Pleven Epopee 1877, the Regional History museum and the mausoleum-chapel "St George Pobedonosets". Other interesting places in proximity are Kaylaka park and the Wine Museum. 

People that enjoy fishing could take advantage of the opportunities that Kaylaka dam offers.
