Staniovtsi is a village in West Bulgaria. It is situated in Breznik municipality, Pernik region

It is 19 km southwest of the town of Breznik and 39 km northwest of the town of Pernik. The neighboring village of Dolna Sekirna is 2 km south and the village of Noevtsi is 14 km east. The capital Sofia is 64 km east. 

In the village are constructed water and electricity systems. 

It is located in mountain area and its altitude is 831 m. The climate is temperate. The average temperature during the coldest month January is -1,7°С and the average temperature during the hottest month July is 19,6°С. 

The permanent population is about 103 people.  

Here are functioning mayor's vice royalty, community center, store and coffee shop. There also is hunting party. The nearest GP is in the village of Dolna Sekirna. Hospital, dentists and pharmacies you can find in the town of Breznik. Schools and kindergartens are situated in the village of Noevtsi and in Breznik. 

Through the village pass two rivers Svetlya and Klisurka which makes the village suitable for relaxation in the nature and fishing. 
In the area there are a couple of dams that create great opportunities for sports fishing - Breznishki izvor dam (8 km), Begunovtsi dam (9 km) and Slakovtsi dam (14 km). 

Landmarks that you can visit in the area are Chepinski monastery and Giginski monastery "St st Kozma and Damyan".

Bardoto area is famous for its "zhelyazna" mineral water which springs from the south part of the hill in Leskov dol area. The mineral spring attracts healthy and sick people from the ancient past for its healing characteristics which are due to the rich mineral chemical compounds and valuable physico-chemical and and physiological characteristics.
