Slatino is a village in West Bulgaria. It is located in Kovachevtsi municipality, Pernik region.
It is about 8 km from the village of Kovachevtsi and 6 km north from the village of Kosacha, 28 km west of the town of Pernik. Sofia is about 55 km northeast.
It is located at the foot of Cherna gora mountain and its altitude is between 700 and 999 m. The climate is temperate and is characterized by hot summer and cold winter while it is influenced by the mountain relief.
The permanent population is about 11 people.
The nearest primary school is in the village of Kalishte and kindergarten you will find in the village of Lobosh. Medical assistance you will find in the municipality and the nearest hospital is in the town of Pernik.
The church "St. Archangel Michail" is constructed in 1865 and in 2011 is renovated. You should also visit the Radibosh monastery "St. Troitsa" which is just 3 km away.
Pchelina dam is situated in proximity and is excellent place for fishing and relaxation in the nature. On the rocks at the shore there is chapel.
