Ralevo is a village in North Bulgaria. It is situated in Pleven municipality, Pleven region.

It is 17 km south of the town of Pleven, 18 km east of the town of Gortalovo and 5 km north of the village of Nikolaevo. The neighboring village of Laskar is 2 km south, the village of Brestovets is 11 km north. The capital Sofia is 155 southwest.

It is located in hilly and plain area and its altitude is 242 m. The climate is temperate and is characterized with hot and dry summer while the winter is cold. During June and February fall lots of precipitation. Hails are common phenomenon to the area.

Regular bus transportation connects it to the town of Pleven and the neighboring settlements. There are constructed water, electricity and phone systems. All mobile operators have coverage.

The permanent population is about 365 people.

Here are functioning mayor's vice royalty, community center, store and pub. There is kindergarten in the village of Brestovets. The nearest GP works in the village of Nikolaevo and in the town of Pleven you will find the nearest hospitals and schools.

Tourism and landmarks

The area offers good conditions for hunting and fishing for there is prey in the woods and Kaylaka dam is stocked. There also are organized regattas.

Through the neighboring village of Gortalovo passes the small river Chernelka and from here starts the canyon of the river that is protected natural phenomenon. There is constructed eco path and the tourists can visit the many caves in the area - Kapchuka cave, remains from ancient fortress in Gradishte area, Roman roads, interesting rock formations.

In the town of Pleven you can visit three of the 100 Tourist Sites of Bulgaria - Pleven Epopee 1877, the Regional History museum and the mausoleum-chapel "St George Pobedonosets". Other interesting places in proximity are Kaylaka park and the Wine Museum.
