Nasalevtsi is a village in West Bulgaria. It is situated in Tran municipality, Pernik region.

It is 14 km west of the town of Tran and 60 km northwest of the town of Pernik. The capital Sofia is 89 km sotheast.

It is located in mountain region and its altitude is about 839 m. The climate is temperate and there are clearly expressed four seasons.

The permanent population is about 35 people.

The nearest school and kindergarten as well as stores are working in the municipality. Again in Tran you can get medical assistance.

Tourism and landmarks

There is Orthodox church "Rozhdestvo Bogorodichno" that was constructed in 1859 that needs reconstruction. Near its yard there are a couple of hundred year old oaks that are declared as phenomenon.

The areas Sharbi kamik, Barzaka, Belovats, Odaritsa, Mali put and Radavitsa, Rid peak, as well as the sand pyramids at the foot of the mountain. Interesting site is Podidub where there is cemetery with a couple of hundred year old oaks, as well as statue of Gergana and spring.

At the village of Busintsi there is "Museum exhibition of the Busintsi ceramics" which was opened in 1982. Together with the museum section and the exhibition halls there are also working studios and small hotel.
Now in the museum there are over 1300 pieces (jugs, jars, cups, bowls, casseroles, pots etc.) total of about a hundred different forms made by over a thousand craftsmen from the village and the region. Only in this museum you could see the so called "okanicheta" which are small jugs for wine and rakiya, the "crondir" which is unique kind of a jug with a hole in the middle. The museum is also keeping a hundred year old furnace that was used by the world famous craftsman Petar.

Not far from the gorgeous Erma Gorge, Ruy peak, the rock church St Petka, the Tran monastery and Vrabcha waterfall.

There are many wild animals in the woods of the village and this creates great opportunity for the people that enjoy hunting. The ones that prefer fishing can go to the dams Yarlovtsi and Lilyantsi.
